At SIS School, the House system forms the backbone of student leadership and holistic development. It instills a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, healthy competition, and belonging among students.
Leadership & Responsibility
Students are encouraged to take on leadership roles through various school and House appointments.
- Class Monitors assist teachers in managing daily class routines.
- School Prefects and House Prefects play an active role in organizing school events, supporting discipline, and representing student voices in various committees.
- The Head Boy and other senior prefects are carefully selected by the Principal based on leadership qualities, integrity, and the respect they command from peers.
House Leadership Structure
Each House is led by
- Two Senior House Captains
- Two Junior House Captains
They are guided by a Chief House Master, supported by dedicated Senior, Junior, and Primary House Masters. Together, they ensure the all-round progress of students in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.
Inter-House Spirit & Rewards
All competitions—academic, cultural, and athletic—are conducted on an inter-house basis, encouraging team spirit and a strong sense of loyalty.
Participation and performance are regularly tracked, and points are awarded throughout the year. Houses compete for trophies, accolades, and school-wide recognition.
