Rules & Regulations

To maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive learning environment, all students, parents, and staff at SIS School are expected to adhere to the following guidelines

Student Do's

  • Arrive on time for school. Latecomers will not be permitted entry.
  • Wear the prescribed school uniform, neat and properly ironed, with appropriate haircut and trimmed nails.
  • Carry the School Identity Card (with latest photograph) and school diary daily. Entry to class, labs, library, assembly, or school events without these is not allowed.
  • Assemble promptly at the first bell for prayer and maintain silence while proceeding to classrooms.
  • Keep classrooms and the school campus clean and litter-free.
  • Walk silently and in an orderly manner within the school premises during school hours.
  • Tiffins must be brought only during the recess bell; attendants must wait at the school gate.
  • Participation in games and co-curricular activities is compulsory unless medically exempted by the Principal.
  • Bicycles must be properly locked and parked at the designated stand. A nominal parking fee applies.
  • Students using scooters or motorbikes must have a valid driving license and park only in permitted areas.
  • Students being dropped/picked up must wait with parents or report to the security officer in case of delays.
  • Always exhibit respectful behavior—greet teachers, elders, and maintain the school’s reputation in and outside the premises.
  • Once selected for any school event or program, attendance is mandatory—no exemptions will be granted.


Student Don'ts

  • Do not bring valuable or costly items such as calculators, coins, jewelry, or electronic gadgets to school. The school will not be responsible for any loss.
  • Do not use the school telephone without prior permission from the receptionist.
  • No collections (money or materials) for any purpose may be made without the Principal's written permission.
  • Damaging school property (writing on walls, desks, breaking furniture) is strictly prohibited. Offenders will bear repair costs and may face fines or expulsion.
  • Do not wear rings, bracelets, earrings, or other forms of jewelry in school.
  • Use or possession of mobile phones, CDs, pen drives, cameras, iPods, or similar electronic items is strictly prohibited.
  • Students of Classes I to VIII are not permitted to wear wristwatches.


Strict Disciplinary Action Will Be Taken If a Student

  • Violates school rules repeatedly or behaves inappropriately after warnings.
  • Damages or defaces school property or belongings of others.
  • Exhibits indiscipline, immoral behavior, or disrespect toward staff or peers.
  • Brings crackers, color powders, or any prohibited materials into school.
  • Comes to school improperly dressed or repeatedly ignores uniform and grooming rules.
  • Fails to carry diary and I-Card regularly despite repeated reminders.


    • Grave violations, including disrespect to authority, immorality, or willful damage to property, can lead to immediate expulsion.
